📣 Wildcat Challenge Day – Volunteers Needed!

Thank you to our AMAZING 6th grade parents—we have 26 volunteers signed up! 🎉 We still have a couple of openings.

We still need help for our upper grades:

👉 7th Grade: We have 16 volunteers signed up and need 30!
👉 8th Grade: Only 8 volunteers signed up 😬 (this is where we need the MOST help!) We need 30 volunteers!

Our vendor recommends a minimum of 30 volunteers per grade to keep the stations running smoothly. Please help us get there!

If you’re a 7th or 8th grade parent/guardian—or know someone who is—encourage them to sign up today. Every extra set of hands makes a HUGE difference! 💪🐾

Wildcat Challenge

Hello West Middle School Families!!! 

The West Wildcat Challenge is here!! This is our largest fundraiser, and we need your help.  We are asking each student to set a fundraising goal of $100 so we can reach our $65,000 school goal! 

Family and friends can support our school by giving flat donations to our students before the end of the challenge on Monday, September 9th.

Get involved!

• Connect your student with potential donors and sponsors!  
  • Donations to West through the Wildcat Challenge are eligible for most Employee Company Matching programs – easily double your donation!

• Email your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and businesses you frequent.  
• Personalize your requests and let potential donors know what the money will be used for at West (field trips, innovative grants for classrooms, technology, and more!). 
• Share our Wildcat Challenge on Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) 
• Make phone calls, send emails, text, and FaceTime to share the link to donate.  
• Check with your company to see if there is an Employee Company Matching program.  
• Sign up to volunteer at the Wildcat Challenge Celebration Day on Thursday, September 11! 
• Complete the waiver allowing your student to participate in the Wildcat Challenge Celebration Day: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PjxmusxtOPzOqbYEXXThKLnI-zwl6eewias7IlMoZf4/edit 
• Make sure you get ALL DONATIONS are submitted by Tuesday, September 9th. 

Goals and Prizes! 

Check out all the prizes your student can earn on the parent letter and/or the Prize Tab on our website. 

Individual Prizes 

• Each student with any donation by 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 28 will earn ONE entry into a drawing for a $25 Amazon Card. 
• Each student who sends 10 emails from the Wildcat Challenge website system by Friday, August 29 will earn ONE entry into a drawing for one of many gift cards. 
• Each student who has a total of $100 or more in donations by 5:00 pm on Friday, August 29 will draw ONE Lolli Pop from the Lolli Pop Tree for each $100 donated.

Classroom Prizes 

• Each class with a $75 average donation per student by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 5 will earn a Krispy Kream Donut Party on Wednesday, September 10 during Advisory. 
• ONE class per grade level will be selected as the “TOP Dollar Class Earner” and will earn a Dippin’ Dots Party.   

School Prizes 

If our school collectively earns the amounts below, we will earn the following activities on our Wildcat Challenge Celebration Day!  

• $15,000 = Foam Party
• $25,000 = Bowling
• $35,000 = Sticky Dodgeball
• $45,000 = Buzzer Beater & 9 square
• $55,000 = Challenge Course
• $65,000 = Giant Building Blocks
